School Administration

A portrait of Nicole Pagan, Associate Principal of Governor Mifflin Middle School

Nicole Pagan

Principal
Brecknock

Welcome to a brand new year at Brecknock Elementary! I am honored to begin my fifth school year in the Governor Mifflin School District and my third school year here at Brecknock Elementary School. We are thrilled to open our doors and greet both returning and new families as we embark on this exciting journey of learning and growth together.

I am excited to begin my 17th year in education as a teacher and administrator. After ten years in the Wilson School District, making memories with kids in grades K-5 through a variety of teaching roles, I began my administrative journey in 2016 as the Assistant Principal of Teaching and Learning at Reading High School. In 2021, my family moved to the Governor Mifflin School District, and in 2022, I was able to become an even bigger part of Mustang Nation when I was appointed the Associate Principal at Governor Mifflin Middle School. In March 2023, I returned to my roots in elementary education and joined the amazing students and staff at Brecknock Elementary School, serving as building principal!

Our dedicated staff shares a common goal: to foster a safe and nurturing learning environment. We are committed to guiding our students on a path of continuous growth, both socially and academically. We believe that the journey to discovering one's passions begins early, and we are here to support and encourage our students every step of the way. At Brecknock Elementary, we are eager to foster strong and collaborative relationships with the Governor Mifflin community.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family. I cheer on my daughter at her games, play with our two dogs, and unwind with creative hobbies like cooking and art. As a lifelong learner, I'm pursuing my Doctorate in Education at Neumann University while also participating in Albright's TexPL program. My passion for teaching translates to giving back as an Adjunct Instructor at Reading Area Community College. And yes, I proudly (though sometimes it can be tough) embrace being a Philadelphia sports fan!

I am proud to be a part of our community and love hearing the talk about all of the greatness happening in Mustang Nation.  I am truly honored and excited for what is yet to come.

With Gratitude,
Mrs. Nicole Pagan
